"Westward, Faux! waggishly explores appropriated Cowboy iconography as well as the artist’s own western identity through a contemporary lens.  The catalyst for this body of work was undergraduate essay entitled "Westward Expansion and the Myth of Manifest Destiny.“  The essay argued History is a subtext of the narrative created by then-current dominant social mythology."
