The International Museum of Art & Science presents Texan-born artist Charles Criner and the selection of work in Where I Came From. Consisting of paintings and lithographs, the exhibit reflects Criner’s personal experiences and creates a narrative that lends insight into his ideologies and political views. Criner studied at Southern Texas University and as a student began working closely along side his professor and mentor, Dr. John Biggers who played a vital role in Criner's artistic career. Criner currently operates a studio at the Printing Museum of Houston where he is the artist in residence.
