Eye on Third Ward: Jack Yates High School Photography

Photography students from Jack Yates High School document the cultural fabric of Houston's historic Third Ward community. Teenagers walk through the neighborhoods capturing candid images of day-to-day life which are then selected by MFAH staff members.  This annual exhibition Eye on Third Ward: Jack Yates High School Photography is one of the museum's most successful education initiatives.
