John Mulvany is the founder and co-editor of Cantanker magazine and was featured in the 2009 Texas Biennial. His exhibition The Stations of the West explores the anxiety of the future and the loss of faith in governments, religions and institutions. Referencing ways art has documented dramatic upheavals, Mulvany’s paintings and mixed media pieces explore history that is still prevalent today.
