Austin artist and UT prof Robert Dale Anderson died unexpectedly on Sunday at his home. Here is the Austin Chronicle’s post. Anderson was very active in the Texas art scene: he showed regularly at dBerman Gallery in Austin, and had a large solo show, The Land Remains, at Conduit Gallery in 2007. As fellow Austin artist/UT prof Margo Sawyer put it, "He was everywhere, and knew everyone." He will be missed.
