The Houston Arts Alliance Announces is fixin’ to hand out more hotel tax money to Houston artists through their Individual Artist Grant Program. The grants encourage the creation of new works, recognize significant Houston artists and stimulate a greater public awareness, not to mention the grants’ important role in providing scandal-fodder for KTRK-TV’s Wayne Docefino. The eGrant application deadline is December 4, with workshops on how to apply on November 12, 19, 20 and 21 at locations around the city.
