Curated by UT alumna Lauren Rottet, a show that "explicitly rejects the idea of disposable, throwaway objects." It's a mixed bag: Ross Lovegrove's bench carved from a single giant piece of aluminum is outstanding, and Mark Holmes' gold lamp is sexy (albeit in a cheesy, Wynn Hotel kind of way); while Zaha Hadid's uncomfortable resin chaise is classic form over function, and Greg Lynn's absurd chess sets are just plain awful.
