Tools and equipment used by the "metal arts meet-up group" were stolen around new year’s from studios at 2511-C E. Sixth in Austin, reports Robert Faires in the Austin Chronicle. Welders, shears, saws and grinders used by metal artist Sharon Blackwell and four other artist/tenants were ripped off, and the group is moving out. Police have made no progress recovering the tools.
