alternate use for tuition savings

dcU, a new program from the Dallas Contemporary, is bringing professors from North Texas colleges to speak on their topics of expertise at their monstrous Glass St. warehouse. Tickets are $10 (FREE for DC members!), only 0.13% of resident tuition at UNT this year, or about half the roughly $17.50 per hour cost of instruction.

Upcoming speakers include: Stephen Lapthisophon (UTA) who talks installation art on March 20, Thomas Riccio (UTD) lecturing on performance art on April 17, Cathy Caesar (UD) on conceptual art on April 24. Carlos Donjuan (UTA) explains street art on May 8. All lectures begin at 7 p.m. at the Dallas Contemporary, 161 Glass St. Dallas.
