The Dallas Observer reports that Big Tex, the giant, awkward talking cowboy that has been a landmark of the Texas State Fair in Dallas for years, was destroyed by a fire of unknown cause on October 19. A State Fair spokeswoman told Fox 4 the fire was seen coming from his neck and might have been “electrical in nature.”
