Designed by super star architect Yoshio Taniguchi, the $48.4 million building is almost assured to have a star on the map of important Houston architectural monuments by the time it officially opens in April 2012. The 38,000-square-foot building takes up an entire block and includes an art gallery, theater, classrooms, reception spaces, a geothermal cooling and heating system and a fantastic view of the Houston skyline framed by an infinity water garden.
