The Texas Commission on the Arts is looking for nominations for State Poet Laureate, State Musician, State Two-dimensional Artist and State Three-dimensional Artist. Any Texas citizen can nominate (self-nominations are encouraged) via their convenient online form by the November 1 deadline. Texas State Artists serve one-year terms and represent the state’s artistic legacy, but unlike State Birds or Flowers, will not be featured on a license plate.
