In an ironic twist after the Cottage St. bungalow used in their recent museum piece, Give and Take, got red-tagged by city code enforcement as a "dangerous building", Houston artists Dean Ruck and Dan Havel will receive the "Citation of Honor – Artisan Award" at the annual Texas Society of Architects Awards luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 24. The duo is preparing for another house deconstruction project in Houston’s 5th Ward in a few months.
