California architect Scott Johnson, who is designing Dallas’ Museum Tower, will speak at the Dallas Architecture Forum on Wednesday, April 9. Johnson, best known for his Opus One and Byron wineries, San Francisco’s Rincon Center and the MGM Tower in Los Angeles, has a new book coming out in 2008 on the design of skyscrapers. $15 at the door, unless you’re a Forum member. 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre, 3699 McKinney Ave. Dallas.
